Q: What is the minimum age requirement? A: Students should be around 7 years old before starting.
Q: Am I to old to start Taekwon Do? A: You are never to old to start. Taekwon Do is a great way to exercise both your body and mind. The great thing about Taekwon Do is that each student develops at there own pace.
Q: What kind of martial art is Taekwon Do? A: I teach USTF/ITF style Taekwon Do. Our club is a member of the United States Taekwon Do Federation, headquarters located in Denver, Colorado. We are in, and a member of, Region 6 of the USTF.
Q: How many nights a week are classes? A: I have classes twice a week, on Monday and Wednesday.
Q: How often do you test for a new rank? A: We have tests every 3 or 4 months. You must have a minimum training of 3 months, at 2 classes a week to meet your time requirement. This does not guarantee that you will test at this time, other factors are required.
Q: What are the testing requirements? A: Attendance: you must have the correct amount of classes for your level.
Physical Training: Each level has patterns, kicks, step sparring, and self defense.
Knowledge: Each level has required knowlegde to study.
Instructor: The instructor will determine when you are ready to test, based on your attitude, discipline, attendance,
and the above requirements.
Q:How long before I'm a Black Belt?
A:If all testings go as planned, 3 years minimum.
